Hidden Compass is proud to present our second annual Pathfinder Prize Live Pitch Event! The 2024 Pathfinder Prize finalist teams will pitch their projects live — for a chance to receive a $15,000 grant to fund a global expedition of the modern age. While the event is free, registration is required.

“The Music of Care” is a musical expedition in India to explore the question: As music is a fundamental element of all major moments in Indian life, how could it be better incorporated into someone’s last moments?

“Beyond the False Summit: A Matterhorn Expedition to Unearth the Queer Pioneers of Alpinism” is a climbing expedition to explore the question: By shining a light on the hidden stories of queer climbers in history, can we write a more truthful narrative to reach a peak beyond the false summit of exclusion?

Following the event, Hidden Compass Allies will have ten days to cast their votes. The winning team will be announced at the 2023 Ethos of Exploration in-person event on December 6.
