The Next Legacy: Celebrating 100,000 Readers and Beyond! (YouTube)

In this special panel discussion, broadcast journalist Andria Borba speaks with Hidden Compass co-founders Sabine K. Bergmann and Sivani Babu — as well as acclaimed writer Lance Garland, whose story, “Out of Desolation,” will appear in our upcoming Legacy Issue. Out May 16, the Legacy Issue celebrates 100,000 Hidden Compass readers by showcasing ten of the magazine’s feature stories from over the years, across the departments, and around the globe. The panel explores the stories in the issue as well as larger topics such as the state of modern journalism, the effort to welcome underrepresented stories and voices, and the importance of humanizing storytellers and journalists.
