About the Journalist
Tristan Bove is a journalist drawn to stories about the ways science, power, and the environment intersect to shape people’s lives. He got his start as an editor at a climate media non-profit in Hong Kong, before reporting on energy and economics for Fortune Magazine in New York City. As a freelancer, he has reported on climate, economics, and politics from wetlands in Sri Lanka, great lakes in Tanzania, and remote fjords in Alaska.
Having grown up in the hills overlooking Rome, Italy, the place where the ancient city first took shape, Tristan is fascinated by the ripples that form when nature and history meet.
