About the Journalist
Olivier Guiberteau is a freelance journalist and photographer. Based in the Chiltern Hills region of the UK, he has lived and worked in multiple countries around the world. His work is wide-ranging and includes travel, sports, culture, and adventure, and has been featured in BBC Travel and BBC Sport.
He is passionate about exploration, be it far from home or close by in the neighborhood and is always looking to tell the stories of what he comes across either through words or photographs.
His piece on shinrin-yoku for Hidden Compass is intended as the first in a series that aims to explore how we can address issues like mental health in more natural and holistic ways.
