About the Journalist

On a mission to travel for good, award-winning author, freelance writer, and videographer Elaine Masters looks and listens intently.

She apologizes for annoying fellow travelers while tracking story ideas, cultural clues, and inspiring images but can’t resist ducking in doorways and pulling over often. Most recently she has been driving her hybrid around the North American West Coast, hunting environmental story leads and small-town inspirations.

She’s written for Edible, San Diego Home and Garden, International Luxury Travel Magazines, and many other outlets.
