About the Journalist

Brandon is a writer, outdoor educator, and student currently working on Creative Writing and Environmental Studies degrees at Seattle University. He got his start in the outdoors in the oak forests of Berkeley’s Tilden Park and on the granite of the Sierras. Now, he can usually be found climbing rocks or getting overly excited about moss in the North Cascades. He writes a little bit of everything at this point, but his main focus is on stories that look outside of the purely human and, hopefully, help people think a little more deeply about how they treat the world around them.

He also has a brown spotted Dalmatian and wants to open a bakery one day.
