About the Journalist
Anne Hilty is an avid writer on themes of travel, culture, and human psychology. Her PhD in health psychology, MA in transpersonal studies, and passion for positive psychology, as well as a background in integrative health care, all contribute to her writing. Her publications to date include 39 books, 195 articles [40+ reprints], one book chapter, 10 columns, two essays, one short story, her PhD thesis, and a few blogs, with several more books scheduled for 2024 publication.
Originally from New York City, Anne has lived abroad since 2005 in both Asia and Europe. She has solo-traveled to 113 countries for research, all with an aim of intercultural competence. She currently lives in Istanbul, has a company in Hong Kong, maintains projects in Korea, and works globally.
