About the Journalist
After a career as a publicist in wine and sports, Barbara Barrielle started writing about travel when her daughter took off for Tulane University. Until COVID hit, Barbara traveled more than half of the year and especially adores the Cook Islands, Europe, and the Pacific Northwest. In addition to writing about wine and travel, Barbara produces films with a feature out in 2018 and two in production in 2021. A documentary on the wine country fires is also in the works. This past year has meant getting to know the United States better and what a thrill this country is! You can follow her on social or email her with ideas, thoughts, or insights.
