About the Journalist

Ana Norman Bermúdez is a Spanish-British photographer and writer who splits her time between the worlds of journalism and international development.

Her work documenting the impact of various United Nations agencies, including UN Women, UNDP, and UNODC, has taken her on assignments throughout Asia. She has lived and worked in India, Bangladesh, and Thailand, where she is currently based.

Ana holds an MA in documentary photography and an MSc in behavior change, and is interested in how visual and written media can influence social attitudes and behaviors.
