About the Journalist
Dr. Gilad Fiskus is a cultural photographer based in Israel. He is also a dentist, and over his three-decade career in dentistry and dental aesthetics, he has found that the cornerstone of his practice is the same philosophy he brings to his photography.
For him, the smile is the light of the face, and as he travels the globe documenting different cultures, he lets aesthetics, art, harmony, and the balance of light and colors guide him, just as he does in his dental practice.
His photographs and stories have been published in dozens of international magazines and have been displayed in more than 100 exhibitions around the world.
